The Watermark has become one of Asbury Park’s top beachfront gathering spots. Part sophisticated drinkery and tapas bar, part music lounge and social club, Watermark’s environment is contemporary yet comfortable, refined yet relaxed, upscale yet …
There has never been a better time to try out a new restaurant in the Jersey Shore area, today we’re spotlighting a new American Cuisine destination: Dish Restaurant. Dish offers a wide selection of hearty favorites in a cozy, inviting atmosphere. With more than twelve years of experience, their staff and talented chefs are dedicated to making dining adventure fun, relaxing, and pleasurable. Whether you bring your family in for quality time together or gather with your friends to enjoy a meal.
For nearly 35 years, Fromagerie has been a landmark in Rumson. In the early days, Chef David Burke worked in the Fromagerie kitchen, and found mentors in Markus and Hubert Peter, founders of the restaurant. Their professional relationship evolved into friendship, and as David’s talent and career grew, he continued to stay in touch with his friends, and often returned to visit the Fromagerie that he loved. David would often say that when the Peters were ready, it was his hope and dream to one day buy Fromagerie which finally took place this past spring. Fitting that the torch be passed to David, he continues to give every customer the best in fine dining with the kind of warmth and hospitality that few restaurants ever achieve, perpetuating the Peters original vision for the Fromagerie.
If you are in Highlands, New Jersey, and in the mood for upscale Italian cuisine, you may want to stop in at the Bay Ave. Trattoria. Joe Romanowski and Maggie Lubcke two of the most beloved, respected and skilled people ever to have worked in a restaurant at the Shore have set up shop in this modest sliver-size storefront trattoria. They only need to be referred to by their first names to set off light bulbs in the minds of devoted foodies.
Whether you live in the Asbury Park area or you are traveling through the New Jersey Shore, I strongly suggest visiting this dining destination. Moonstruck offers patrons ‘fresh’ American-Mediterranean cuisine, with an excellent selection of drinks to choose from at the bar. Many preparations are inspired by the great cooking of The Mediterranean region: Italy, Spain, France, Greece, North Africa and The Middle-East, with a few nods towards South-East Asia.
The New Jersey Shore Restaurant Week is an event that attracts local and travelers from across the country. This year more restaurants are participating than ever before, and is sure to be an experience to remember.
