Jersey Shore Hotel Showcase: The Lillagaard Bed and Breakfast

This historic inn, recently purchased and renovated by innkeepers Dick and Jane Wehr, features 22 enchanting guest rooms, each named for its unique theme. Hand-painted murals by local artist Barbara Climer add a spectacular finishing touch to each room, many of which have private baths and an ocean view. For your comfort, every room has a ceiling fan and is air conditioned. Our Victorian Tea Room is open for scones, tea and lunch. Less than a block away, the boardwalk and beach await. After a day’s sunbathing, you can explore everything that the historic community of Ocean Grove has to offer, from concerts and religious services at the Auditorium, to relaxed shopping on the quaint Main Avenue and dining at a variety of restaurants . There are even tours of the community by old-fashioned trolley!
